The Patient Dervish
'Sabrı eden derviş muradına ermiş' David Bellak Dede quoted this Ottoman Turkish sufi saying this evening, meaning "The patient dervish attains his desire". After trying gathering online a couple of times for zikr and conversation, Dede feels that the virtual medium is perhaps not quite right for conveying what he would like to share with us. So for the moment, he is encouraging people to practice in their own time and place, and to contact him or one another individually for guidance and spiritual friendship.
